Health, safety and environmental management consultants - Noise Survey - Audiometry
We are equipped with state of the art Laren Davis sound pressure level meters and Spark Dosimeters.
Workplace noise surveys are carried out in accordance with the guidance published by the HSE on the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. These new regulations have introduced new exposure limit values which mean that if your workplace is more noisy than a noisy restaurant you may be exceeding the values and have duties to protect your workforce.
The regulations also require that health surveilance in the form audiometry (hearing tests) is carried out on any employees who may be at risk from noise. We are qualified in industrial audiometry by the British Society of Audiometry and can provide this service at your workplace.

For architects and developers we provide surveys in accorance with the planning guidelines PPG 24 which require the rating of potential development sites according to the existing noise levels and provide advice on mitigating possible noise nuisance from any development.
